Dr. J. B. Owens, 75, of Houston, Texas, died Monday, Nov. 22, 1976, in his office of an apparent heart attack. He formerly had been a general practitioner in Veedersburg and Danville. He left this area many years ago but had returned many times to visit friends. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mae Williams Owens of 1037 Cheshire Lane in Houston; and two sons, Dr. John Owens of Saudia Arabia and Dr. Ed Owens of Houston. Services were held in Texas. --waw
